You know that feeling of dread you get when you’re walking by the kiosk vendors in the mall?
You know what I’m talking about.
You look around at displays and store windows trying to avoid eye contact, but then you slip and look over. Before you know it, your eyes have connected and they are waving and moving in your direction.
You swallow hard as you hands start to sweat. They strike up conversation about their product. You wait until the right moment politely decline their offer and then go along your way. Whoo, you made it out alive.
Have you ever been guilty of this behavior? Have you met someone in person or online and then started to talk to them about your offer right after your introduction?
How did that work out for you? Was it super awkward? Did they buy or did they give you some strong side eye and never talk to you again?
In my experience, you don’t want to be known as that person.
There’s a better way to create a steady flow of leads that are ready to buy your product.
